About

Hi -  I'm Floss

Yoga and philosophy teacher, scholar–practitioner, and lifelong student of embodied wisdom.

With a Masters in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Cambridge and 7 years experience teaching yoga, my work bridges scholarship and practice; the intellectual and the embodied.

My deepest passion is for reviving a vision where philosophy becomes a practice and way of life that goes hand-in-hand with our embodied practices. I love creating spaces for yoga teachers to explore yoga philosophy and history, and discovery what it means to embody philosophy, as a way of life, for themselves through learning, curiosity, and enquiry,

My work & background |

With a background in Social Anthropology and a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Religion from the University of Cambridge, my work explores the deep connections between body, mind, spirit, and culture. I specialise in making the history and philosophy of yoga accessible and alive—not as abstract ideas, but as practical, embodied tools to support how we live, teach, and relate.

I’ve been teaching yoga for almost 7 years, completing my first 200-hour training in Traditional Tantra and Hatha Yoga  in India in 2019. Since then, I’ve continued to deepen my practice with further study in embodied anatomy, vinyasa, meditation, and breathwork, alongside over three years of graduate study in philosophy, theology, and Sanskrit at The University of Cambridge.

What ties it all together is a love for enquiry - into how yoga can help us live with more meaning, authenticity, and presence. Whether you’re a practitioner or a teacher, my offerings are rooted in this invitation to explore yoga not only on the mat, but as a transformative path of reflection, embodiment, and connection.

Through online and in-person courses, workshops, and community spaces, I aim to support others in weaving philosophy and embodied awareness into their everyday lives - where philosophy becomes the practice of meaingful enquiry into a live well lived.

As well as classes and workshops, I currently teach a signature 12-week introductory programme on the History and Philosophy of Yoga, running twice yearly. I also teach on Embodied Philosophy's Sadhana School, and guest teach on Yoga Teacher Trainings.
