Teaching and Classes
I have completed over 250-hours of yoga teacher trainings over the past two and a half years, covering the spiritual, philosophical, and anatomical aspects of yoga. For me, yoga is not just a physical or postural practice, but an approach to life. The physical practice of asana (the poses) allows us to cultivate more awareness of ourselves- our mind, body, breath, and subtle energy body- over time. For me, the practice of yoga is an enquiry into knowledge of 'self' through embodiment- being in a material, human form- as opposed to a purely intellectual enquiry which compartmentalized 'good' and 'bad,' 'right' and 'wrong.' All yoga is perfect! Unless it causes injury!
As well as my professional qualifications, I am committed to the continual deepening of my personal practice, studying under various teachers in London, Cambridge, and online, whom I am indebted to. I also study Philosophy of Religion (M.Phil.,) at The University of Cambridge where I am attracted to the contemplative and mystical philosophies of Indian religions and neo-Platonism.

My style
Yoga comes in many styles which suit different preferences. My teaching style is inspired by Hatha, Tantra, Kundalini, Vinyasa and even Iyengar; each class is a unique experience.
However, what is most important for me during class is that the student is able to explore and deepen their connection and knowledge of themselves through movement, breath and meditation. This union, this connection, is yoga.
