Join Floss for these summer, pop-up yoga classes at creative space, Together Culture  this August. These 1.5-hour mini-workshops, complete with a relaxing end-of-session cooldown, are perfect for deepening your practice and discovering new techniques, as you leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated this summer.
Saturday 17th August, 10.30 am - 12 pm: Yoga and the Breath
Most of us know that the breath is central to yoga, but this fact can be overwhelming when we are not clear on exactly how we should be breathing! The truth is, yoga offers a myriad of breathing techniques—also called pranayama—suited to different parts of the yoga practice. In this class, we will explore various ways of breathing in yoga, including diaphragmatic breathing (the 3-part yogic breath), ujjayi breath (the oceanic breath used in vinyasa flow), and kapalbhati (the breath of fire used in Kundalini yoga). You'll learn about the science and anatomy of these techniques, their benefits and uses, and how to integrate them into your life and yoga practice to enhance your overall sense of calm and well-being.

- Sunday 18th August, 4.30 pm - 6 pm: Inversion Foundations
