Secrets of Yoga Philosophy

Exploring the fundamental question at the heart of spiritual philosophy:
Who am I?

What is philosophy really for?

So often, we imagine philosophy as being about finding answers. Perhaps in the form of concepts we have finally understood, or teachings and blueprints we have identified as truly ‘yogic’ and ought to follow.

Yet what if we turned this on its head, and saw yoga philosophy as not simply about finding the right answer, but about asking questions - enquiring not just through the mind, but through our whole embodied being, experience and relationships with the world around us.

This is exactly what we will explore in this upcoming online workshop, Secrets of Yoga Philosophy.

In this free workshop, we will cover:

  • The question ‘Who am I?’ and how different philosophical and spiritual traditions have approached it.

  • Why philosophical enquiry is not simply about finding answers, but questioning what we think we already know.

  • How philosophy can become an embodied practice, rather than something we only study intellectually.

  • What it might mean to bring this kind of enquiry into our everyday lives.

Ready to practice yoga philosophy, not just think about it?

Through a combination of theory, reflection and short embodied contemplation, you can expect to leave feeling inspired, with a renewed sense of wonder about yourself, your practice and the world around you.

Hi, I’m Floss — a yoga teacher and facilitator of embodied yoga philosophy.

With a Master’s in the Philosophy of Religion from the University of Cambridge, and years of studying yoga philosophy in India, Nepal, and with the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, I now facilitate yoga and embodied philosophy classes, workshops, and courses in Cambridge, online, and as Faculty for Embodied Philosophy.

My work bridges grounded academic scholarship on the philosophy of yoga with embodied practice and practical integration — helping modern yogis and yoga teachers bring yoga philosophy into their lives in ways that are intellectually rigorous, personally meaningful, and spiritually rich.

Wherever you are in your journey, I would love to welcome you into this space of learning, practice, and enquiry.
