We often think about philosophy as abstract, intellectual and disembodied. Yet, in ancient times, philosophy was a practical way of life.

Yoga at its core is both philosophy and practice, yet all too often yoga philosophy becomes abstract, boring, and irrelevant in relation to modern life.

In this free training, we will learn how yoga philosophy can become practical again - in ways you might not expect - that will have deeply transformative impacts, not just for your yoga practice, but for your life.

Through this free training, you will

  • Explore what yoga philosophy actually is, beyond abstract ideas and concepts

  • Understand why philosophy is essential to yoga becoming a transformative, spiritual practice in your life

Hi, I’m Floss — a yoga teacher and facilitator of embodied yoga philosophy.

With a Master’s in the Philosophy of Religion from the University of Cambridge, and years of studying yoga philosophy in India, Nepal, and with the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies, I now facilitate yoga and embodied philosophy classes, workshops, and courses in Cambridge, online, and as Faculty for Embodied Philosophy.

My work bridges grounded academic scholarship on the philosophy of yoga with embodied practice and practical integration — helping modern yogis and yoga teachers bring yoga philosophy into their lives in ways that are intellectually rigorous, personally meaningful, and spiritually rich.

Wherever you are in your journey, I would love to welcome you into this space of learning, practice, and enquiry.
